Acclaimed British chef Marco Pierre White looked almost unrecognisable as he made an appearance live on Sunrise on Tuesday.
The restauranteur and TV personality, 61, chatted live in studio to hosts David ‘Kochie’ Koch, 67, and Natalie Barr, 55, to promote his upcoming stage shows Down Under which begin in May.
Marco cut a casual figure in a white shirt and black vest, and wearing a pair of spectacles, for his TV appearance.
During the chat, he spoke about his incredible career, from becoming the youngest chef to ever receive three Michelin stars to what he thinks about Australian cuisine.
Marco, who Aussie fans would recognise from Hell’s Kitchen Australia, then went on to rate host Natalie’s cooking, before having a rather flirty exchange with the TV star.

‘You’re real good looking by the way!’ Marco told her as he tasted her cooking and looked at her.
‘It’s deliciously interesting,’ he said about her lemongrass and ginger fish, before telling her to add some chicken stock to stop the sauce being so ‘harsh’.
Speaking about his career and achieving three Michelin stars by the age of 33, Marco said it was ‘wonderful’, but it became ‘boring’ to cook soon after as everyone wanted to taste his Michelin-star dishes.

‘You’re being judged by people who have less knowledge than you and you place your value on them, but it’s a wonderful journey,’ he said.
‘As a young man, winning three stars is very exciting but then when you’ve won it, it’s quote boring people want to have those specialties, it’s conveyor belt cuisine,’ he said.
He then said that Australian food is ‘some of the best food in the world’ as ‘Australians are great at stripping back that formality’ when it comes to dining.
Just last year, Marco was on Australian soil as he filmed MasterChef Australia.

Marco has appeared on MasterChef Australia before, but previously said he left the show for Hell’s Kitchen Australia due to ex-judge Matt Preston.
In 2017, Marco vowed ‘on his mother’s grave’ to get back at judge Matt Preston after comments he made on Sydney radio about Marco’s son, Marco Pierre White Jr.
Matt had criticised Marco Jr. on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, after the young man had boasted of his drug binges and sex with prostitutes.
‘That’s that whole rich, London trust fund babe, trustifarian-type stuff – it’s another world,’ said Preston.
Marco was so incensed by what Matt had said that he refused to even discuss it during a television interview the following year.
Marco Pierre White Jr, 28, was last week released after a year in jail for a spree of shoplifting, possessing a knife, possessing heroin – and racially abusing a supermarket security guard.
His stage show at the State Theatre begins on May 25.
