In a statement, they said: ‘We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing.

‘It’s about friendship, family and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labour of love, literally.’

The film is set to follow two feuding families whose arguments with one another are put to one side when one of their teenage daughters is diagnosed with cancer.

As of now, no actors have been announced to join the cast, but Anna Klassen is set to adapt the story for the big screen.

Last year, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Millie discussed her film, Enola Holmes 2, in which she portrays the title character again while also serving as a producer along with her older sister Paige.

‘This is something that I have been wanting to do since I was little. I mean, 13, 14 I read the book series and I went to my dad and I said, I wanted to make it,’ she said.

‘My older sister and I have collaborated on this project and made sure it came to light in the most authentic and British way as possible.

‘And, you know, I never had, growing up, a female British lead to look up to and Enola is that for me and it’s been an amazing experience creating it.’

The Netlix films starring Millie as the younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes are based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries young adult detective novels by American author Nancy Springer, 74.

British actor Henry Cavill, 39, portrays Sherlock Holmes in the Enola Holmes movies.

In an interview with The Mirror, Millie added of her siblings: ‘They are incredibly creative people. And to be able to be a part of that journey with them – it was the best love and support anyone could ever have.

‘To have them on set was just this comfort blanket, but also a certain level of respect that I had never really known that I had.

‘My brother’s very professional and I was always kind of like, “Let’s have lunch together”, which was really sweet.’

Jake’s siblings: Stephanie, Jesse and Romeo

Jake was born to celebrity parents Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley on May 7, 2002.

The high school sweethearts, who got married at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in 1989, also share three other children – Stephanie, 29, Jesse, 28, and Romeo, 19.

Despite their dad’s enormous fame, Dorothea told PEOPLE in 2016, that they try to keep their children out of the spotlight.

‘We never really drag the kids to things. I never pointed at the TV and said, “There’s Daddy!” We try hard just to give our kids a normal life,’ she explained.

Jake’s older sister Stephanie was born on May 31, 1993, in New Jersey, with his dad evening penning a song, I’ve Got the Girl after her.

In 2012, Stephanie, who was 19 at the time, was hospitalised after taking Opioids.

Speaking about the ordeal in a 2013 interview, Jon told The Mirror: ‘It was horrible, a horrible moment. It was my worst moment as a father.

‘She was by no means sticking needles in her arms. But there’s a lot of synthetic stuff in the world and a lot of temptation and access and pressures that just a generation ago you and I didn’t know about…

‘I feel it was a terrible tragic lesson of life but I thank God every day because she is whole. It happened and it has gone. I know personally people whose sons and daughters, where it was a lot, lot worse. That could have been Stephanie.’

She now works as a camera operator and often makes red carpet appearances with her dad.

Meanwhile, Jesse was born on Feb. 19, 1995, in Los Angeles, he studied political science and government at the University of Notre Dame.

In 2018, he went on to create a wine brand with his dad, named, Hampton Water.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia during a virtual Q&A in Sydney last year, Jon spoked of their family business.

‘[We thought] if we were going to do this, we were going to make sure we did it right,’ he explained.

‘There’s no family name on the label, there’s nothing to do with any song titles on the label because we needed to respect the profession, if we were going to do this we had to take it seriously.

‘We worked very hard every day to garner the respect of the industry and to learn and that’s all we’re doing. So the last thing we are going to do is be a celebrity brand. It’s a family business.’

The wine-making has been somewhat of a father, son bonding experience for the pair, who spoke to DailyMail.com about the venture in June 2019.

Jesse gushed over working with his famous father, saying: ‘It’s been an amazing experience working with my dad.’

‘It’s hard to say what the best part is, but one of my favourite things is just being able to bounce ideas off of him. He has a wealth of knowledge, and he is a great marketer. I love going to him with an idea and getting his feedback.’

He continued: ‘He intuitively just knows the right way to slightly tweak something to make it genius. I learn from him every single day.’

‘I am glad I pursued rosé instead of singing, but you are too, ha, trust me – I did not inherit the singing gene,’ joked Jesse.

Last year, the business owner became engaged to his girlfriend of four years Jesse Light.
