It comes after two more celebrities left the bush on Wednesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity South Africa.

Former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan, 32, and EastEnders icon Dean Gaffney, 45, said their goodbyes after coming last in the Survival Trial.

The latest episode began as the next Survival Trial continued where the stars were all locked in crates filled with critters as they had to release themselves from the locks.

The two who were last sadly had to leave the show as the battle to become the next I’m A Celeb Legend continued.

Helen said as she left: ‘I’ve had the time of my life I have just had the best time I am so grateful. I knew I would be bad at the challenge.’

Dean added: ‘Hopefully I did better than last time. I am definitely going home heavier than I arrived with all the picnics that’s for sure! You know what I’m done I haven’t laughed that much in years.’

Fans again were sad with who had left as they took to social media as the episode aired.

One said: ‘Helen Flanagan may be out, but she’s the real winner of I’m A Celeb South Africa. She has come so far since her original appearance on the show, and earned the title of I’m A Celebrity legend. #ImACeleb.’

Another said: ‘All the best people have gone out of I’m a celeb now, non of them are legends that are left in there #ImACeleb.’

A third wrote: ‘Helen’s redemption arc was one of the only things worth I’m a celeb legend! Also we’ve lost dean this ep ain’t off to a good start #ImACeleb.’

After Helen revealed the secret trick to mastering her trials on the show.

The star nailed her challenges this time around after famously struggling with them on her original appearance in the jungle.

And in her exit interview about being eliminated on Wednesday’s episode she told how she had been prepping for the challenges ahead of jetting out to the bush.

She said: ‘I didn’t actually feel that nervous of the Trials. I mean, I did a little bit. I just took a totally different approach with the Trials this time.

‘I did prep a bit before the show. I worked on a lot of my fears before I went to South Africa.

‘I went to Go Ape a lot! I went about 10 times before I did the show to work on heights and stuff.’

She added of the trials in general: ‘I just felt a lot calmer and a lot more confident doing the Trials this time round. My favourite, FAVOURITE moment was when I won a Trial against Paul Burrell.

‘I love Paul but I wanted to win. Honestly, it was my favourite moment ever ringing the bell at the end when I won. I was so happy. My second favourite moment was running into camp afterwards.

‘I was literally buzzing telling all the other campmates I’d won. I was so happy! It was just amazing, I loved every second of it.’

While fans can see Carol gracing ITV daily on the I’m A Celebrity spin-off she’ll also be appearing on Friday’s episode of Have I Got News For You.

The TV personality will appear as a panellist for episode seven of the topical comedy show – her third appearance on the programme.

Comedian and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Nabil Abdulrashid will makes his second appearance on the panel.

Paul Merton and Ian Hislop will appear as usual and the guest host has yet to be announced.
