Former US President Barack Obama is currently in Australia for a pricey speaking tour, hosted by former Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop.
The Australian politician, known for her keen sense of fashion, opted for a chic ensemble for Obama’s Sydney conference in Sydney on Tuesday evening.
The 66-year-old spared no expense, posing at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney in a Carla Zampatti cream suit valued at a total of $1848.
She paired the Australian brand’s sleek Ivory Crepe Scalloped Jacket with their Ivory Crepe Wide Waisted Pant.
The chic jacket alone costs a whopping $1,249 while the matching trousers retail for $599.

Julie beamed as she posed for a selfie at the event, which was shared to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
Barack will speak at the city’s ‘An Evening with President Obama’ – where Australians will hear about the politician’s ‘path to success’.
Tickets for Obama’s speaking dates come in at between AUD $195 to $895 and the trip is expected to net the former president as much as AUD $1million.
The 61-year-old will continue his tour in Melbourne on Wednesday night where he will speak at John Cain Arena.

Obama was seen touching down in a private jet in Sydney on Monday, taking wife Michelle along for the long ride.
The politician, who served as US president between 2009 and 2017, last visited Down Under in November 2014.
‘President Obama faced a number of complex challenges, including the rise of China, ISIL taking territory in Syria and Iraq, the Syrian civil war, the 2008-09 global financial crisis and much more,’ Bishop said ahead of the tour.
