Maya Jama enjoyed some much needed down time after Love Island came to an end last month.

And the reality show host looked incredible in a white crop top and oversized boyfriend jeans, whilst out in Brooklyn with friends on Friday.

The brunette beauty wore the simple yet stylish getup, which showed off her tiny waist as she headed to some bars in the New York state.

Donning some sunglasses and a pair of monochrome trainers, Maya, 28, looked happy and relaxed on the trip, ahead of her presenting the second series of the dating show later this summer.

The Bristolian re-shared a story from her good friend and wellness coach Penny Jarrett.

As Maya walked into a bar, Penny filmed her accompanied by a song, which sang out the words: ‘What a natural beauty, no need for makeup, she’s a queen’.

Later on in the video, Penny could be heard continuing to hype up her pal.

She told her followers: ‘Does she know how cute she looks?’ before joking that she does.

Maya reposted the story with some crying laughing emojis and captioned it with: ‘My biggest supporter and biggest hater’.

The outing comes after The Sun revealed that Love Island will return to screens in just eight weeks on Monday June 5.

Maya will be back as the host following her huge success on the winter version of the show, which saw Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan win the series.

The summer version will see a number of singles travel to Majorca and stay in a luxurious villa for two months.

Maya took over from Laura Whitmore to present series 9 of the reality show.

In July 2022, it was reported that Laura had appeared for just 14 minutes of Love Island by half way into the summer series, despite earning a rumoured £600,000 to host the show.

A total of 1,610 minutes of footage – almost 27 hours – of villa action was broadcast last year at the halfway point, according to The Sun.

The presenter had appeared on 13 minutes and 26 seconds of the main show up until that point, meaning she was paid the equivalent of £744 a second.

This summer will see Maya juggle her presenting duties between the Love Island villa and the Aftersun studio.
