Evelyn broke up with shy electrician Rupert Bugden after growing tired of the lack of effort he was putting into their relationship.

Fans flocked to Twitter to praise Evelyn for saying her vows quickly then getting out of there, comparing it to someone dropping off their dry cleaning.

Evelyn said her vows first because Rupert was too nervous. She told him he should have fought for her throughout the experiment, and she was disappointed he didn’t. 

‘When I saw the kindness in your eyes I wanted to give it a shot… I have developed genuinely strong feels for you, but your words and actions have been hard for me to comprehend,’ she said.

‘It took you six weeks to take me on a single date and that’s when I asked you.’

She continued: ‘Someone who sees my worth would have put their ego aside and fought for me… so for that reason I choose not to continue with this relationship.’
