Jessika Power has shared how the Disney film Moana helps calm her down when she has panic attacks.

The Married At First Sight star posted a video to Instagram Stories on Tuesday depicting the animated feature playing on her screen along with a caption.

‘I’ve had a bad day. On the verge of a panic attack but (thankfully) it didn’t come. And this is the one movie (don’t ask me why, I have no idea) but it settles my head’ the 30-year-old wrote.

‘Yeah its a children’s movie. But the second I feel on the edge I will put this on.’

She added that her British podcaster boyfriend Connor Thompson is also a great support.

‘Connor knows also when this film is on to check in on me, but has learnt to understand my panic attacks/anxiety. He knows to check from a distance’ she said.

‘I don’t know if this can help anyone else. But I’ve been putting this movie on every single time I’m feeling overwhelmed.

‘I have panic attacks that are bad enough that I’m on the floor crying, unable to breathe’ Jessika went on.

‘They come from nowhere or it can just be a big day in my life. But this movie just helps so I wanted to share and maybe it can help anyone else.

‘I might post funny videos and nice pictures but damnnnn do I struggle sometimes. I wanted to share this incase anyone felt the same.’

In a subsequent video, Jessika said she has been suffering from ‘bad’ anxiety and had been crying that day.

Jessika recently announced a social media hiatus following years of death threats and ‘nasty’ backlash.

The reality star, who shot to fame on season six of Married at First Sight in 2019, opened up to her 370,000 followers about her need to take a break.

‘So, I’ve been asked ‘Why are you having time off social media’ and here’s my reason… I’ve been doing media, events, radio, articles, television and podcasts since 2019,’ she wrote, before going into detail on her hardships.

‘I’ve been hated, I’ve had death threats, I’ve had my family abused, I’ve had my shitty relationships smashed across the media. My family’s lives have been shared with everyone.

‘I’ve spoken out, I’ve enjoyed it, I’ve hated it, I’ve capitalised on it and there’s never been a day where I’ve gone ‘Okay, enough and I need a break’ and it seems the second I do the nasty comments on why I’m doing it and the rest of the bull**t.’

The Big Brother VIP star then explained that she needed to step away for a while due to her mental health.

‘I love you all and I know I have the most amazing support on here but I think I’ve reached a point where I’ll either be hurtful to my mental health or I’ll just withdraw,’ she wrote.

Despite this, Jess admitted that she loves sharing her life online and doesn’t plan to stop influencing and posting permanently.

‘I’m always transparent with you guys so I felt I wanted to explain so I wasn’t continuously worrying you all,’ she shared.

‘People always think posting on social media and making money from it is ‘super easy and lazy’ but the emotional aspect and the way it drains you mental every single day is fkn hard!’ she continued.

‘BUT I’ll be back and better, I have so many amazing projects to share and show you all! I just needed a break.’

Jessika became one of the most hated women in Australia during her time on Married At First Sight after she cheated on ‘Farmer Mick’ Gould with Brisbane bad boy Dan Webb.

However, she was able to use the platform to launch a successful career as an OnlyFans model and influencer and has since starred on Big Brother VIP and the UK’s Celebs Go Dating.
