‘So I stopped drinking in August and honestly it has just had so many positive changes.
‘Yes at the beginning it was hard. I did find it difficult socially and at social events because it’s like a habit if you’re used to having a drink. So it felt a bit weird and a bit awkward but I got past that kind of by month three.
‘And honestly the benefits just outweigh any of that and it makes it so worth it and I just feel better every day that goes by.’
Speaking out on her decision last August, she told followers at the time: ‘I had a breakthrough in therapy and decided to stop drinking alcohol, I didn’t want to admit it but it’s a huge trigger for my anxiety.
‘It has an instant negative effect on my mental health and right now I’m focused on feeling my best, finding happiness in my life and not trying to escape from it,’ she penned.
Also in her Q&A, Millie addressed the prospect of having more children, noting that if she did, it wouldn’t be ‘anytime soon’.
Millie is married to fellow former Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor and the couple are parents to daughters Sienna, two, and Aurelia, 16 months.
She told followers: ‘I think it’s very unlikely. If I do it won’t be anytime soon! I love having two girls and worry I would be too stretched with one more in the mix.’
Candid: Opening up during an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, Millie answered the question ‘what made you go alcohol free?’
Millie who has been open about suffering from candida, which is a fungal infection caused by eating yeast, also detailed her personal experiences.
In January, she said she had been ‘focusing on improving her gut health’ since the diagnosis and has avoided ‘foods that contain yeast, gluten, dairy and refined sugar’.
But recalling the experience, she described the main symptom she faced.
She said: ‘The main ones were bloating.
‘I’d get really bloated, especially after meals and by the end of the day I would look three months pregnant.
‘I’d also just get like uncomfortable digestive pains. I was also just quite tired and would get loads and loads of bugs from the girls and get really taken down every time I got sick.
‘It would take me a while to shake it off and I just felt like my immune system was really struggling.’
The Q&A comes after Millie underwent laser tattoo removal to treat three inkings and gave her followers an insight into the process.

The reality star could be seen sporting reflective sunglasses as she took a seat in the clinic, NAAMA Studios in London.
Sharing a clip to her Instagram Story, Millie explained it ‘felt like a tiny nettle sting’ as the technician removed a Butterfly on her lower back, three stars from her shoulder and another tattoo.
Speaking to the camera she detailed: ‘Okay, so it’s like a tiny sting I can just feel the sensation of the cold air, which is just uncomfortable.
‘Then I can feel the tingle through that, like a nettle sting. But it goes away really quickly.’
Millie later added: ‘Because my tattoos are small it was possible to treat all three areas in one session.
‘It was no more painful than laser hair removal and I can go back from my next session in two weeks time. I will keep you posted on the results.’
Meanwhile, Hugo proved he and Millie are stronger than ever when he penned a sweet Valentine’s Day post to her last month.
Hugo shared a snap of the couple sharing a kiss as he dubbed her ‘someone he can’t live without’ and noted being ‘obsessed’ since meeting 20 years ago as teenagers.
Despite crossing paths young, the pair spent many years apart after Hugo was unfaithful to Millie with their pal and Made In Chelsea co-star Rosie Fortescue.
And showing that not all is forgotten, fans were quick to point out the scandal, which led to their 2011 split, in the comment section of the post.
While Millie then went on to wed rapper Professor Green in 2013, before splitting just over two years later and reconciling with Hugo.
Posting the tribute to Millie, Hugo wrote: ‘Love is pure happiness, obsession, someone you can’t live without. I’ve felt this way about you since the day we met over 20 years ago. Happy Valentine’s Day’.
