Shakira is enjoying a holiday with her two children in the stunning Turk and Caicos islands ahead of her move to Miami, it was revealed on Saturday.
The singer, 46, left Barcelona with sons Milan, ten, and Sasha, eight, last week after deciding to move away following her split from Gerard Pique.
Spanish press reported Shakira chose ‘an idyllic and remote’ spot to relax after the dramatic break-up which saw her allegedly served with an ‘eviction notice’ by her exes dad.
The stars trip to the British Overseas Territory comes after was revealed she is planning to settle on the ‘billionaire bunker’ island of Indian Creek when she starts her new life in the States.
Her children are due to start school at a well-known private school in Miami on Tuesday.

Shakira’s new home will be a £14 million mansion in the city’s glamorous South Beach area which the artist bought in 2001.
But Shakira experts Lorena Vasquez and Laura Fa, who revealed Shakira’s secret holiday location, also reported she is planning to move to the 300-acre Indian Creek in north-eastern Miami-Dade County so she and her kids can enjoy more privacy.
Its ultra-wealthy and high-profile residents include Spanish crooner Julio Iglesias, supermodel Adriana Lima and billionaire investor Carl Icahn.
The island is only accessible by a two-lane gated bridge and you need to be resident or have your name on a verified visitor’s list to be able to get past security guards.
Thirteen full-time police officers secure the island by land and sea.
Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is expected to make his first visit to Miami later this month as part of his child custody agreement.
He can spend 10 days a month with Milan and Sasha outside of holiday time as part of the accord they agreed at a court in Barcelona in December.
Pique’s Spanish lawyer Ramon Tamborero is due to meet Shakira’s lawyer Pilar Mane after the Easter break to ‘dot the I’s and cross the T’s’, according to Spanish press.

Shakira, whose split from Pique was confirmed last May after a relationship lasting 11 years, was pictured leaving Barcelona last weekend with her children.
The singer-songwriter posted an image of the Barcelona skyline with an emotional message in Spanish.
She wrote: ‘I settled in Barcelona to give my sons stability, the same stability that we are now looking for in another corner of the world next to family, friends and the sea.
‘Today we begin a new chapter in the search for their happiness. Thanks to everyone who surfed so many waves with me there in Barcelona, the city where I learned friendship is undoubtedly longer than love.
‘Thanks to everyone who encouraged me, dried my tears, inspired me and made me grow.
‘Thanks to my Spanish fans who have always protected me with their love and loyalty.’
She went on to share a photo of a wing of the plane she left the Catalan capital and added: ‘But things are not always how we dreamed them. At times we run but we don’t arrive. Never doubt that I’m going to be here.’

Speculation was mounting on Monday in Spain that the letter was the cause of the tears she was seen shedding in a New York store ahead of her return to Barcelona.

It’s said to have been owned by the former couple in their names before becoming the property of a company called BCN Two & Two in September last year four months after the artist and ex-Barcelona defender announced their split.
Pique’s father shows up on Spanish Companies House as the sole director and its sole shareholder is said to be the former footballer’s holding company Kerad Holding.
Spanish media have not specified how much ‘compensation’ Shakira would have had to pay, as part of the agreement when the property ownership changed last September, if she hadn’t left by the end of this month.
