Tulisa spoke out about how sobriety made her apprehensive about taking to the stage with N-Dubz since their reunion.
Appearing on This Morning alongside her bandmates – Dappy and ex-boyfriend Fazer – she spoke about her health overhaul.
She said: ‘I was hesitant to get back on stage. Back in the day I used to have some Dutch courage but now I’m Teetotal so it was different’.
When the band embarked on their sell-out comeback tour last year, Tulisa revealed she had been throwing herself into her health and wellness – revealing: ‘I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been’ having recently quit alcohol.
Shedding light on her past, she said: ’10 years ago I didn’t step on stage without a double JD. I’d be out partying with the boys & sleeping all day…
‘Now I start each day with a fresh veg & fruit juice and an hour & a half gym sesh. Yoga, meditation, Clean healthy eating, staying hydrated & no alcohol what so ever & I been T total for 2 months running up to it to make sure I’m on top form.’
At the time, she explained that the change was not permanent, adding: ”I feel the best I’ve ever felt. But you best believe I work hard & play harder because on the last tour date ima out drink all these mofo’s whoop whoop’.’

The band toured the country with their Back to the Future tour, in which they were performing live together for the first time in over a decade.
The band enjoyed more than a decade of chart success before disbanding in 2011, after which Tulisa traded the cargo pants and trainers for elegant evening dresses while serving as a judge on ITV show The X Factor.
Their two albums, Uncle B and Against All Odds, were certified platinum in the UK, while hit single Number One – a collaboration with Tinchy Stryder – hit No.1 on the British Singles Chart.
They also won four MOBO awards; Best Newcomer in 2007, Best Album and Best Act in 2009 and Best Song in 2010 for their single Playing with Fire, as well as the 2009 O2 Silver Clef Award.
