Brie Larson put on a show-stopping display as she joined Gal Gadot along with Kristen Bell and Christina Aguilera at the 9th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Oscar winner, 33, who recently appeared in The Marvels trailer earlier this month, wowed in a vibrant gown, as well as Veronica Mars alum, Kristen Bell, 42.

The Wonder Woman actress, 37, and Genie In A Bottle hitmaker, 42, were effortlessly chic in black ensembles as they stepped onto the red carpet at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

The star-studded event is dubbed the ‘Oscars of Science’ and brings celebrities together to help, ‘honor the new laureates and introduce them to the public,’ according to the ceremony’s official website.

The celebration first began ten years earlier in 2013, and has finally resumed with the last ceremony being held in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Brie exuded Old Hollywood 50s glamour wearing an eye-catching, royal blue dress that easily clung to her stunning frame. 

The gown was held up with thin straps that wrapped around her shoulders, while fabric was pulled towards the left side of the ensemble for a dramatic flare.

The hem of the material, along with the ruched fabric, fell down towards the actress’s ankles, revealing a pair of open-toed, silver strappy heels. 

The Captain Marvel actress opted to keep her accessories minimalistic to allow the dress to be the main focal point for the glamorous evening. 

She added a pair of small, dangly earrings along with a large, silver and blue ring on her right hand. 

The beauty parted her blonde locks to the side, allowing the strands to elegantly flow down past her shoulders. 

Her makeup was classically done for night, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes along with a light shadow to make her eyes pop. 

Brie added a light pink blush to better accentuate her cheekbones while opting for a dark rosy tint to her lips for a finishing touch.

Brie has been filtering through a busy schedule, and recently made an appearance in the latest The Marvels trailer that was officially released to anticipated fans earlier this month. 

The star reprised her role of Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, with the upcoming project slated to premiere in theaters later this year on November 10. 

Larson’s film, Captain Marvel, which released four years earlier, notably raked in a whopping total of $1 billion in the global box office. 

As she prepares for the release of the movie, which also stars Park Seo-Joon, Iman Vellani, and Lashana Lynch, the Emmy winner graced the red carpet at the 2023 Breakthrough Price Ceremony in the heart of Los Angeles. 

The event notably features, ‘short films about the scientists and their work, presentations by celebrities and live music from world-renowned artists,’ according to the official website. 

The celebration also, ‘draws together the stars of science with leading figures from the worlds of technology, business and entertainment.’ 

On the other side of the super hero world, DC actress, Gal Gadot, also turned heads as she arrived at the glitzy event on Saturday.
