A Britain’s Got Talent contestant looks unrecognisable nine years after he appeared on the ITV show.

Bailey McConnell, 24, appeared on season eight of the talent show in 2014, where he captured the hearts of viewers as a 14 year old musician.

However the singer looks very different now as he often shares snaps of his bulging biceps on his Instagram.

The star, who has 205,000 Instagram followers, also now dons a face tattoo which appears to be the letter H on his cheek bone. 

While he still boasts his trademark blonde hair and quiff, he now dons a nose piercing and several tattoos, including one on his arm and wings on the back of his neck.

Back in the day: Bailey, 24, appeared on season eight of the talent show in 2014 when he was just 14, capturing the hearts of viewers as a musician

It’s also clear the star has been hitting the gym as he has been documenting his progress whilst showing off his toned physique.  

It appears Bailey is still creating music as he released his latest single THROTTLE just last month.

He took to social media earlier this month to announce the release date of his new single. 

In a post he wrote: ‘THROTTLE is out tomorrow. This song is about the battles you have with yourself in your mind. 

‘Just remember, you ain’t that voice in your head. Pre-save is available for those who want it first. Appreciate you all.’ 

His fans shared their excitement after he posted a sneak peek of the song online.

One person wrote: ‘Sounds good keep up the good work xxx’ 

Another wrote: ‘so good man ❤️ love it x’

Back in 2014 he won the hearts of the nation when he performed his own song at his audition.

His semi-final song Growing Pains went on to be very popular and the music video gained over had 1.5 million views, but he missed out ona place in the final.
