Brooke Shields celebrated 22 years of marriage to her husband, Chris Henchy, by sharing an Instagram post on Friday.
The 57-year-old actress posted several photos to her account, each of which showed her spending quality time with her 59-year-old spouse.
The performer, who opened up about her childhood during a recent interview with Drew Barrymore, also penned a short message to publicly express her affection for her longtime partner.
Shields wrote: ’22 years married today… sometimes it feels like it’s been forever in the blink of an eye! There’s nobody else I’d rather drive insane or be driven insane by… catch or be caught by… love or be loved by.’
The star of The Blue Lagoon also wrote that she was ‘in for the long haul’ with her husband.
Shields concluded her heartfelt message by affectionately calling Henchy ‘a keeper.’
The model and her husband initially met in 1999 while they were both working on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles.
The performer was previously married to former professional tennis player Andre Agassi, and their union lasted from 1997 until 1999.
The happy couple became engaged in 2000 and tied the knot in Mexico the following year.
Shields and Henchy started a family with the birth of their eldest daughter Rowan, 20, in 2003.
The couple went on to bring another daughter named Grier, 17, into their lives in 2006.
The actress spoke about the early days of her relationship with her husband during an interview with People, where she recalled splitting up with her spouse in the early days of their relationship.
She expressed that, following her recent divorce from Agassi, she did not want to be seen as ‘rebounding, or whatever they call it, because I hadn’t spent any time sowing my oats.’
