It appears spring is in full bloom for Charlize Theron, who was pictured with her new romantic interest Alex Dimitrijevic on a lunch date Sunday.

The 47-year-old actress looked to be in great spirits as she was pictured with Dimitrijevic at the restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Oscar-winning Monster star was seen holding hands with Dimitrijevic, a model by trade, on the romantic daytime outing.

Theron donned a casual ensemble of a V-neck maroon sweater with roomy khaki pants and brown sandals as she headed to the restaurant.

She had her blonde locks to the side and wore a pair of black sunglasses while carrying an iPhone and a black Dior bag on the outing.

Dimitrijevic donned a yellow short-sleeved Avanti Silk Hawaiian Aloha shirt with a Tiger across the front with blue jeans and beige brown shoes.

Dimitrijevic, who has past modeled for brands such as Malbon Golf, AG Green Label, The Elder Statesman and Combo Boxing, sported a beard and had his locks combed back. 

Charlize is mom to two daughters: Jackson, 11, and August, seven.

In December 2022, Charlize said she would give up her career for her children if she had to choose between the two, she revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Charlize said: ‘I love being a mom more than I love being an actor or a producer. And I never thought I would say that. If somebody said to me tomorrow, “You can’t do both,” would I be sad to give up acting? Of course. But it would be a no-brainer for me.’

She added that her current focus is all on her kids: ‘Right now, everything I do revolves around when my kids are out of school for the summer, which usually means we’re shooting in a heat wave somewhere.’

‘In 10 years, I can definitely see myself being an empty nester and just packing up and traveling three continents [directing] a TV show. But that’s not my life now.’

In 1991 while living on a farm near Johannesburg, South Africa, Charlize’s mom Gerda shot and killed her dad Charles in self defense after he physically attacked them while drunk – even firing at them.
