Eagle-eyed Farmer Wants A Wife fans notice strange detail in gripping finale

Eagle-eyed Farmer Wants A Wife fans have noticed a strange detail in Sunday night’s gripping season finale.

Viewers took to a FWAW Facebook fan page on Monday to point out all of the farmers ended up choosing women in solid coloured dresses, as opposed to patterned frocks.

Farmer David picked Emily on the night, who rocked a striking blue frock, while Matt cuddled up to Olivia in a dazzling silver dress.

Elsewhere, Brenton chose Sophie who donned a light pink dress, while Brad declared his feelings to Clare, who looked stunning in an emerald gown.

Meanwhile, runners up Lorelai, Annabelle, Rachel and Morgan all distinguished themselves in bright floral frocks with striking patterns.

‘Am I the only one who noticed all the girls in the plain dresses are the ones that get picked & all of the girls in floral dresses don’t?’ one observant fan wrote.

The post quickly prompted discussion, with some believing it was likely intentional to make it easier for the crew.

It comes after FWAW star Lorelei Bates shared her disappointment that Farmer David hadn’t reach out after she fainted on the set of the show after he rejected her.

During the finale of the show, Lorelei was left out of the running for David’s affections when he chose Emily as his final girl.

The ensuing shock led to her fainting on air, a moment the 26-year-old admits left her with a vague recollection of what transpired next.

‘When David told me he didn’t choose me, I just collapsed,’ Lorelei told Mamamia.

‘Honestly, I can’t recall what I did or said after that moment. From then on, we were separated, and I haven’t heard from him since.’

Expressing her hurt, Lorelei said she disappointed that David hadn’t got in contact to check in on her, even if it was just to check if she was okay.

The finale saw David pick Emily, a 26-year-old special education aide from Queensland.
