Demi Sims is planning a surprise career move as a professional boxer, which would see her follow in the footsteps of her elite trainer father, Tony.

The former TOWIE star, 26, has been eyeing up her sports breakthrough ever since filming concluded on House Of Sims, the OnlyFans TV reality series she’d been shooting in LA with her famous family.

Now back in her native Essex, Demi’s been working hard at her dad’s gym, Matchroom Boxing, where she’s been practicing in the ring with rising star, Maisey-Rose Courtney.

Open to amateur or influencer categories too, she’s keen to lock in her first fight while continuing with her reality TV career at the same time.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Demi has always been very passionate about fitness and staying healthy but now she’s back from LA, where she’s been filming her new House Of Sims series, she’s been taking it more seriously.

‘She’s a really talented boxer and as her dad is an elite trainer, it makes complete sense for her potentially crossover.

‘She’s been training alongside Maisey-Rose Courtney who’s going to be a world champion, and enjoying it a lot.

‘Who knows? You could see her on one channel with House Of Sims and on the other boxing. It’s certainly a big possibility.’

Demi was seen in action on Wednesday as Tony and her sister Frankie took to their Instagram Stories.

Both cheering her on ringside, they shared Boomerangs of the girls working up a sweat.

Tony wrote, ‘@_maiseyrose Sparing @demisims for 1st time today. Well done girls,’ while Frankie added, ‘@_maiseyrose Watching all the sparring today.’

It comes after an insider claimed Demi and her siblings have been paid a six-figure sum for their show.

House Of Sims – the show featuring Demi, her two sisters Chloe, 41, and Frankie, 27, and brother Charlie, 30, as well as his fiancée Georgia Shults, 31 – has already netted the family £500,000 before it has even aired.

In addition, the show has already been renewed for two more seasons.

An insider told The Sun: ‘OnlyFans TV bosses hugely believe in Chloe and her sisters Frankie, Demi, and their brother Charlie.

‘They’ve got loads of cash to splash on talent, and understood the family are bringing their own fanbase along with them from years of being on TOWIE.

The family seemed to be enjoying the time of their life as they relocated to Los Angeles, although the move being a ‘huge adjustment’.

The insider added: ‘The girls are also loving life in LA and are mingling with US stars, but it is a huge adjustment and there’s been loads of drama to keep viewers entertained.’

Although it wasn’t her initial plan, it appears that Chloe would rather put her roots in US and make it her permanent home.

Last year, Chloe said she and her family are going to ‘live out our dream’ on their new reality show, with sister Frankie promising it will be as raw as possible’.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Chloe, who recently left TOWIE to appear on the new show, said: ‘I’m so excited that I took the leap…

‘We’re going to get to live our dream out together.’

Frankie added that fans will see a different side to the Sims family on the new show where they will be in control of how they are edited.

It will follow the principal family The Sims as they attempt to ‘go global’ away from Essex and on their travels in the USA.

The show is set to air later this year.
