An Australian film worker has given an insider’s view into the rumoured affair scandal surrounding Hollywood superstars Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney.
The production staffer who worked on the rom-com Anyone But You during its Sydney shoot said he and his colleagues assumed the pair were already ‘a couple’ when filming began.
Both Powell, 34, and Sweeney, 25, were in long-term relationships before the cameras started rolling, however both now appear to have ended things with their respective partners.
Powell’s girlfriend Gigi Paris confirmed their split on Thursday with a biting Instagram post.
Sweeney’s fiancé Jonathan Davino was meanwhile sighted packing his bags at the couple’s LA home, taking their dog and his golf clubs.
On Tuesday, after denying any relationship trouble, Sweeney’s fiance, Jonathan Davino, seemed to be heading for the hills

It follows the weeks-long shoot in and around Sydney which showed undeniable chemistry between the two Hollywood stars whose careers are rocketing after a number of major recent hits.
And according to the film worker, the chemistry spilled over when cameras stopped rolling.
‘To be honest we thought they were already a couple,’ he said, while admitting he wasn’t ‘overly familiar’ with either actor prior to the shoot.
‘I knew him from Top Gun. But I just assumed they were a couple in real life.
‘That’s what it looked like to most of us. And to some of the extras as well. There was talk about it during (production) breaks that they seemed close from day one.’
Both Powell and Sweeney also spent free time together including a day out at Taronga Zoo back on March 21 and an open top bus tour.

Powell also posted a number of suggestive snaps of Sweeney to his Instagram.
All of the above is adding fuel to the rumour the world’s brightest stars have fallen head-over-heels on set and subsequently dumped their partners for each other.
Powell, who shot to stardom on the back of his hunky Top Gun turn as Hangman, is tipped to star in the hyped re-boot of Twister with British it-girl Daisy Edgar Jones.
Sweeney, meanwhile, has achieved worldwide fame on the back of breakout roles in teen drama Euphoria and Showtime smash The White Lotus.
Powell’s model girlfriend Gigi Paris shared a cryptic Instagram post on Wednesday, shortly after she unfollowed Sweeney on the app.
‘Know your worth and on to the next,’ she captioned a video of herself walking along a street as she turned to the camera to flash a smile.
No sooner was the post uploaded that Sweeney’s fiancé Jonathan Davino – a Chicago-based businessman who proposed to the actress in 2022 – was photographed loading his car up with belongings.

It comes just a few days after the couple denied their relationship was on the rocks following intense media speculation.
However Sweeney and Powell seemed to put the media scrutiny behind them this week when they made a flirtatious appearance at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas.
Sweeney told the audience that she affectionately calls him ‘Top Gun’ because of his role in Top Gun: Maverick.
‘We love seeing ourselves on the big screen,’ Powell then quipped, before the first trailer for their upcoming film played.
‘Oh, please, Top Gun,’ the White Lotus star said in response, prompting Powell to tell the convention attendees, ‘I love when she calls me that.’

Sweeney and Powell wouldn’t be the first actors to fall for each other during the filming of a movie.
Probably the most famous example is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who fell in love while filming Mr and Mrs Smith back in 2005, with Pitt ditching wife Jennifer Aniston in the process.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were both dating other people when they hooked up on the set of Green Lantern in 2011, with the pair going on to marry and have three children.
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz were also attached to other people when they fell hard during the filming of Dream House.
Craig was engaged to Satsuki Mitchell and Weisz was married to director Darren Aronofsky.
