Gwyneth Paltrow has set up a kinky Instagram account dedicated to sex as her controversial lifestyle platform Goop branches out – after the star won her highly-publicized ski trial.

The Oscar-winning Goop founder, 50, has established an @goopsex account on the platform that has so far focused on how lovers can tease each other with ‘edging’ and instructions on how to achieve the perfect orgasm.

Her wellness site, valued at around £200million, told its members about the launch of the kinky feed: ‘Something we believe at goop is that true fulfillment comes from really knowing yourself and feeling comfortable enough to show up in the world and in your relationships as your whole self.

‘An important pillar of this is how we feel about our sexuality. ‘We created a new Instagram channel for those of us who want to further our education in this area: @goopsex.

‘It’s a place for the pursuit of pleasure, where you can stay up to date on our latest content covering sex, intimacy, and relationships—along with tips from sought-after practitioners and fresh tools. The Goop Sex feed so far has 14 posts and 3,174 followers.

The account’s first posts showed the legs of two women intertwined with instructions on getting the best out of their sex aids.

The caption said: ‘If you’re curious about how to use a vibrator for the first time but don’t know where to start, we’ve got you. We organized a guide based on what kind of stimulation you’re looking for – external, internal, both? – and, within that, some of the most common types of vibrators you’ll come across. Link in bio to read about how to use every kind of vibrator.’

Another post recommends 20 top sex books and another tells users about the ‘healthy benefits of orgasm’, stating: ‘Orgasms are beneficial for mood, anxiety, sleep, and the pelvic floor.

‘And, of course, for pleasure. Follow the link in our bio for some science-backed ways to hit your brain’s hedonistic hot spots—and reap the biological benefits of orgasm outside of orgasm itself.’

Its most recent post is about ‘edging’, where lovers tease each other by bringing them to the edge of climax then stopping them from having an orgasm.

The caption on the post about the practice says: ‘Say ‘hello’ to stronger orgasms. Link in bio to learn all about the stop-and-start technique sex therapists use to enhance pleasure.’

Another post advises new mums about getting back to sex after giving birth.

It says: ‘For many new mothers, the idea that you’ll be ready to have sex six weeks postpartum is a myth. But when you are ready, there’s an upside: Pelvic health physical therapist Allison Oswald says that despite the changes that come with pregnancy and childbirth, women typically become so much more comfortable in their bodies postpartum.
