The model, 24, took to Instagram to share an image from adventure movie, showing her walking down the aisle of an aeroplane, as she confirmed the news.

She also penned a lengthy statement in her caption to elaborate on her connection to the Fast and Furious franchise, in which her late father, Paul Walker, previously starred.

She began by writing: ‘The first fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family.’

The fashion industry figure went on to express her gratitude towards Fast X’s director, Louis Leterrier, for including her in the project.

‘I can’t believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up. Thank you @louisleterrierpro for your kindness, patience and support. It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started,’ she wrote.

She also shared her love for her late father’s former producing partner, Brandon Birtel, for helping her with the cameo.

‘Special shoutout to my dad’s best friend who is now my best friend, @bbirtel, this wouldn’t have been possible without you,’ she wrote.

The model concluded with: ‘I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x I love you all so much.’

Her father previously portrayed Brian O’Conner in the Fast & Furious franchise. He tragically passed away at the age of 40 in November of 2013 after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Santa Clarita, California.

At the time, the actor was working on the seventh instalment in the movie series, Fast 7, which eventually premiered in 2015.

The actor’s final scenes for the feature were ultimately completed with the assistance of his brothers, Caleb and Cody.
