Stan’s sci-fi horror series FROM is scaring the pants off viewers.

The show’s second season, which premiered in April, has enthralled fans with its mysterious plot but also creeped them out due to the supernatural themes. 

‘I have just discovered FROM on Stan and I’m losing my absolute mind,’ tweeted one viewer. ‘So good, so scary, so mysterious, so unhinged!’

Another wrote: ‘I haven’t watched anything that’s as scary and creepy as #FROM. This show is absolutely scary, but I’m a mystery and sci-fi nerd, so I will soldier on.’

‘I don’t know why I watch #FROM. So flipping scary… But oh so good,’ added another.

Each episode of FROM follows the residents of a small town that nobody can escape from – and nobody understands why.  

Residents also have to try to survive the threats of the forest that surrounds the town, including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down, all while trying to maintain a normal life throughout the day.

Made by the executive producers of Lost, viewers don’t know what dangers are just around the corner in this nightmarish municipality, but hidden clues give them more context with each episode.

Season two premiered in Australia on April 24 exclusively on Stan, the same day as the US.

FROM stars Harold Perrineau (Lost, Romeo + Juliet) and Eion Bailey (Ray Donovan, Once Upon A Time), while other noteworthy cast members include Ricky He (The Good Doctor), Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), David Alpay (Castle Rock) and Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice).

This season, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, meanwhile the lives of the town’s residents are plunged into further chaos with the arrival of even more mysterious newcomers.

FROM has become one of the hottest new horror hits on television since it premiered last year.

It has a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising the compelling mystery and likening it to Lost and the work of Stephen King.

From was nominated for two Saturn Awards last year, including Best Horror Television Series.

Both seasons of FROM are currently available to stream on Stan, with new episodes dropping same day as the U.S.
