The I’m A Celebrity… South Africa campmates will be put to the test during Monday’s episode of the show as they compete in two gripping trials.

A number of the show stars, who camped out in Kruger National Park to film the show in September, will be seen as they take part in the Plug It challenge.

The likes of television personality Carol Vorderman, supermodel Janice Dickinson, soap actress Helen Flanagan and Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo were tasked with plugging holes in a wooden box while filming.

In pictures released by ITV ahead of the next instalment, the group can be seen standing in their camp attire as they work together in a bid to achieve success.

Meanwhile, Helen, singer and radio host Myleene Klass, and former boxer Amir Khan will be suspended 1,100 metres above the ground in the series’ highest ever task.

The campmates will be forced to face their fears as they take on the terrifying World’s End challenge in order to win stars.

A sneak peak shows the trio strapped into harnesses and wearing safety helmets as they walk a plank to bring home food for camp.

Looking down on the savannah below, Amir is seen crawling across the thin ledge with Myleene and Helen following closely behind on their own platforms.

Friday’s show saw Shaun Ryder and Gillian McKeith become the first stars to leave the camp.

Shaun, Phil Tufnell and Andy Whyment left the Savannah Scrub and headed into Main Camp, only to discover they would take part in the first survival Trial of the series.

Each picked another celebrity to do it with them, and the losing pair would leave camp for good – with Shaun choosing former nemesis Gillian.

The trial saw the pairs handcuffed together and had to remove spanners and wrenches from three boxes – filled with creepy crawlies – in a bid to free themselves.

However Gillian refused to put her into the first box as she was scared of the snakes inside, resulting in her and Shaun being the first to leave camp and fans exclaiming the nutritionist ‘didn’t even try’ to win the task.

Phil, teamed with Georgia Toffolo, got off to a flying start they were followed close behind by Andy and Jordan Banjo.

Fans took to Twitter to declare their disappointment at Shaun’s exit, after he was previously tipped to be crowned king of the jungle.

While others slammed Gillian as ‘irritating’ and saying that she was acting and feigning fear for the camera.

Before her exit, Gillian left viewers in hysterics after revealing the huge amount of contraband smuggled into camp in her underwear – 13 years after her first jungle offence.

The TV personality, 63, claimed not to understand the definition of the word ‘contraband’ before unpacking a whole host of kitchen essentials from her ‘spicy knickers’.

After previously admitting to bringing salt and pepper into camp, she later shared what else she had managed to sneak past producers.

Gillian left her campmates flabbergasted as she admitted to bringing in a herb shaker (hidden in a toilet roll tube).

She also brought in five bags of Japanese miso soup powder, cumin powder, celery and garlic powder, eight herbal stock cubes, rock salt, a bag of herbal seasoning powder and several nettle tea bags.
