Holly Willoughby has been called a ‘two-faced b*tch’ for ‘aiding and abetting’ her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield.

Kim Woodburn, who has previously appeared on Holly and Phil’s ITV show, insisted both Holly and Phil should step down from the show amid a steep decline in viewing numbers.

Appearing on Dan Wooton’s GB News show on Wednesday night, Kim was asked for her thoughts on the deputy prime minister using reports of the off-screen feud as fuel for an attack on Labour in the Commons.

Jumping in, Kim said of Holly: ‘Well she’s a two-faced b**ch isn’t she? I’ll say it again, Holly Willoughby is not all sweetness and light.’

She continued: ‘For years she said “I’ll stick by Phil, I love Phil, we love each other” The moment she knows that bullets are being fired at Phil she’s now saying I’ll work without him, I’ll run the show without him.’

‘What a two-faced b**ch. I’ll say what I said the other evening, she’s aided and abetted Phillip for years. She’s sat there and watched Phillip insult people. He was very unkind to me, I’m a tough nut but it hurt.’

‘She’s paid to have a point of view but she’s taken shed loads of money to [giggles] go “Oh Phil.” They need to go.’

Last week Kim described Phil as an ‘obnoxious, horrible man’ as she recalled appearing on his show.

Speaking to Dan Wooton, Kim said: ‘I’ve had so many run-ins, he’s an obnoxious, horrible man and I don’t know why he’s still on television.

‘I went on his show and he insulted me, he was rude, he was horrible. He was laughing at me, he was actually snickering at me.

‘He should not be on television, he’s a cruel, brutal little man and he’s full of himself.’

On Wednesday Oliver Dowden, standing in for Rishi Sunak at Prime Minister’s Questions, described opposition leader Sir Keir Starmer and his deputy Angela Rayner as ‘the Phil and Holly of British politics’.

Explaining his statement, Mr Dowden said: ‘All lovey dovey on the surface, they turn it on for the cameras, but as soon as they’re off, it’s a different story. They’re at each other’s throats.’

One ITV insider described the MP’s comments as a ‘cheap shot’. The embarrassing episode prompted yet another crisis meeting at the broadcaster, with one source saying: ‘Enough is enough.’

They added: ‘You know things have got really serious when they’re mentioned in the House of Commons. This is no longer just a bit of beef on Twitter.

‘Those upstairs know they have to act – they just don’t know what to do.’

Another ITV insider described the situation between the two presenters as being like a ‘runaway train that cannot be stopped’.

Schofield, 61, is standing firm amid calls for his resignation due to his appeal to viewers being on the wane.

Sources say it is causing a headache for ITV bosses because they are desperate to keep Willoughby while they would be inclined to depart with Schofield.

One told the Mail: ‘Phil doesn’t see why he should go. It’s his job, he has steered the show for more than 20 years.’

On Tuesday ITV bosses were ‘beside themselves’ on learning that the audience had dropped an almost unprecedented 20 per cent from 894,000 last week to 724,000 for Monday’s episode.

The fallout began in September when the pair were criticised after avoiding the queue for the Queen’s lying in state.
