Kylie Minogue fans were sent into a frenzy after her new single Padam Padam debuted on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday morning. 

The Australian hitmaker, 54, has announced that her new album Tension is coming out on September 22.

Her latest catchy bop dropped on Thursday, boasting an infectious chorus and electronic beat – as fans predicted it would become ‘the song of the summer’.

In the video – due to drop at 2pm – the former Neighbours star put on an age-defying display as she was dressed head-to-toe in red, including a plunging neckline and sexy red leather gloves. 

The singer posted on Twitter on Thursday morning, announcing: ‘My new album TENSION is available to pre-order now!

Meanwhile her fans were full of praise for her much-awaited track, following the success of her 2020 album Disco Fever. 

One fan said: ‘She could sing the phone book and I’d love it!’ while a second added: ‘Kylie Minogue‘s new single is literally everything I needed.’

Another swore it would be ‘in constant repeat forever’ and some predicted it would be ‘song of the summer’.

The album tension will feature 11 tracks as well as three bonus songs on the deluxe edition.

The two sisters are known to be close to each other, with Dannii recently congratulating her big sister on the announcement of her new album, Tension.
