Controversial Married At First Sight groom Shannon Adams hits back at an internet troll by sending a cheeky nude photo following rumours he was a meth addict
Married At First Sight groom Shannon Adams took a very cheeky approach to tackle an internet troll on Thursday.
The 30-year-old personal trainer, known for his ripped physique, was on the receiving end of a less-than-complimentary comment from an internet troublemaker.
The troll took to the comments to share their unsolicited opinion: ‘What a complete a**e you are.’
Rather than take the bait, Shannon responded with a sense of humour, posting a risqué photo of his backside.
His sharp retort was accompanied by the caption: ‘Oath honey’ along with a cheeky heart blowing emoji, before topping it off with a confident ‘Thanks’.

While the internet pest did not respond to Shannon’s unexpected response, it appears they appreciated the rebuttal as they were quick to screenshot the revealing photo to their camera roll.
Adams has been on a recent health kick as he works hard to dispel hurtful rumours he was taking meth during his stint on the show.
Last month, he revealed his buff body and bulging biceps while exercising shirtless.
Shannon shared incredible before and after photos of himself.

In the before image he appeared extremely slim with popping veins, while a second photo showed him looking much healthier.
Shannon explained in the captions he has been working on improving both his physical and mental health.
‘Everything happens in your life for a reason and for the better! Regardless, if it’s a lesson or a blessin’,’ he said.
‘It will help you grow stronger physically, mentally, and give you the power to transform.’
The MAFS groom recently addressed cruel allegations he was a meth addict in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia.
He opened up about his secret health battle and the real medication he’s taking.
‘Absolutely not! I’m not a meth addict,’ Shannon said.
Shannon, who is now working as an UberEats driver, explained he was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, after which he started taking dexamphetamine – otherwise known as ‘Dexies’ – a medication prescribed and closely monitored by his doctors.

‘It’s a long, challenging process to get diagnosed and treated for ADHD. Only those who’ve experienced it would understand my thought process.’ he explained.
Shannon wasn’t diagnosed until after filming the Channel Nine experiment, which means he was not medicated throughout the show or his childhood.
He jokingly added, ‘If I was on meth, I would’ve been wide awake during those 4am commitment ceremonies, not looking glassy-eyed and ready to fall asleep.’
