Michelle was elegant as she opted for a minimal make-up look and pulled her brunette tresses back into a casual up-do, with two strands framing her face at the front.

Michelle, who is best known for her roles in Coronation Street and Brassic, has reportedly signed a six-figure deal to star Fool Me Once which is based on one of Harlan Coben’s books.

Seven of Harlan’s hit books have already been adapted into Netflix series, including psychological thriller The Stranger, which garnered huge popularity on the platform.

In Fool Me Once, Michelle takes on the role of former special ops pilot Maya, who gets a shock after returning from the war.

According to a book synopsis, Maya goes through a trauma when her husband Joe is brutally murdered, but two weeks later, she has to deal with a mystery when she sees her infant daughter playing with Joe on her baby monitor.

Speaking of Michelle’s reported new role, a TV source told The Sun: ‘This is a huge role for Michelle. Harlan’s dramas are some of the most streamed on Netflix and people watch around the world.’

A release date for the series is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be available for streaming from late this year or early next.

It comes after Michelle said she found it was ‘quite scary’ going to Australia alone to film Ten Pound Poms.

The ex soap star ‘absolutely loved’ working Down Under to make the BBC drama about the immigration boom to the country in the post-World War II period, but she was initially apprehensive about heading to Australia without her television personality husband, Mark Wright, 36.

Episodes of Ten Pound Poms will be made available on BBC iPlayer on Sunday evening.
