Nadia Bartel unmasked: Ex-WAG shares a rare photo of herself without makeup or fake tan as she promotes a laser procedure

She is usually seen on Instagram with a full face of makeup and plenty of fake tan.

But Nadia Bartel gave her Instagram followers a rare glimpse of her natural beauty on Thursday as she posted a video of herself sans cosmetics or self-tan.

The former AFL WAG, 37, showcased her bare skin to demonstrate the results of the Cutera’s enlighten treatment, which helps with pigmentation and boosts collagen.

‘This is my skin now with no makeup or fake tan etc.,’ she captioned the video.

‘I am really happy with the results,’ she added.

Laser technology has become more commonly used in recent few years.

It is a non-surgical laser skin treatment that can be used for the majority of common skin imperfections, including spots caused by sun damage and acne scarring.

After sharing a discount code for her followers to receive 20 per cent off the treatment, Nadia said she had seen fantastic results.

‘This is my skin a few months after getting Pico FX,’ she said in the video.

‘Pico FX is great for pigmentation, which was my main issue, but it’s also really fantastic for skin and collagen remodelling if you have any fine lines or wrinkles and it’s great for bringing that collagen into your face.

‘Also, pores. I have noticed my skin is really smooth and it has helped my pigmentation a lot, and the whole texture of my skin.

‘You have to use really high-grade skincare too, and I’ve noticed that makes a whole lot of difference more than anything else.’

However, the procedure hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Nadia.

Last month, the Henne fashion designer brought her Instagram followers along while she got a PicoSure laser treatment.

During the procedure, Nadia’s nurse told her she had a normal histamine response to the laser, but it was nothing to be concerned about.

In the video, the nurse could be heard saying to Nadia: ‘It’s really normal to get a histamine response. Hers is particularly strong; you can see it’s already gone lumpy and bumpy, so we will have to get her onto anti-histamines. It’ll be a very long week.’

Despite her bumpy skin, Nadia said she was confident the results would be worth it.

Afterwards, she acknowledged the procedure wasn’t pain free.

She said: ‘This is my skin after Pico laser, it looks hectic, I can admit, and it was bloody sore, but the results are insane and we went harder than we did last time, so I will keep you guys posted.’
