Peta Murgatroyd shows off her growing baby bump with Maksim Chmerkovskiy as she commemorates 37 weeks of pregnancy

Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy showed off the former’s growing baby bump in a trio of images that were shared to her Instagram account on Friday.

In the snaps, the 36-year-old professional dancer, who is 37 weeks into her pregnancy, and her 43-year-old husband held each other closely, and they also shared a kiss in the final snap.

The former Dancing With The Stars contestant, who recently revealed the sex of her soon-to-arrive child, also penned a short message in her post’s caption that she, as well as her spouse, would be ‘parents of two soon.’

Murgatroyd wore a long-sleeved black dress that conformed closely to her growing stomach and was accentuated with a single gold bangle.

The television personality’s bright blonde hair contrasted perfectly with the dark tone of her outfit.

Chmerkovskiy opted for a white t-shirt and a slim-fitting pair of black pants during the photoshoot.

Murgatroyd and her husband initially met in 2009, when they both worked on a Broadway production of Burn the Floor.

The dancers both went on to appear in Dancing With The Stars, and they briefly dated from 2012 until early 2013.

The pair ultimately reconciled the following year and became engaged in December of 2015 before they tied the knot in July of 2017.

Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy also welcomed their first child Shai Alexander, aged six, in January of that year.

The happy couple announced that they were expecting to expand their family this past January, and it was revealed that they would be welcoming a boy last month.

The professional dancer spoke to People that month and expressed that her loved ones were thrilled about her pregnancy.

It is just a blessing at the end of the year for my family…It’s just been a whirlwind. The best blessing for us, truly,’ she said.

Mugratroyd, who underwent IVF treatments before becoming pregnant with her second child, also told the media outlet that she had to reexamine her plans for expanding her family during a difficult period.

‘I literally was praying to the gods about this, but it’s so funny because I was at a stage where I had let [the idea of pregnancy] go,’ she said.

The professional dancer remarked that she did not realize that she was pregnant for an extended period of time.

‘I didn’t even know I was pregnant for so long until I was really feeling sick. I danced through Dancing With The Stars with it,’ she said.
