The Kid Laroi has sparked rumours he’s ready to take the next step in his relationship with girlfriend Katarina Deme, after he was seen looking at engagement rings. 

The Aussie rapper, 19, was seen on Wednesday looking at some diamond sparklers at the upmarket Tiffany & Co. in Los Angeles.

The young hitmaker, who has been dating the model for almost three years, kept a low-key profile in the store. 

He was seen walking around with his security guard in tow and cutting a casual figure in a black long sleeve T-shirt and jeans. 

In March last year, Laroi said the pair were already talking marriage despite their tender age and relatively new relationship.

‘We’re just taking life how it goes. But, sure, I would love to get married to Kat one day,’ the Without You singer told Vogue Australia. 

The pair cuddled up in an arresting black and white image for the fashion bible, with stunning Katarina snuggled inside the pop star’s coat.

While being interviewed on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show previously, the musician, whose real name is Charlton Howard, revealed how the pair met.

The Indigenous star said that he never expected to fall in love so young, but did so shortly after relocating from Sydney to Los Angeles, where Katarina is based.

‘We met through a mutual friend that I had when I came around here,’ he said.

‘Around the time that I met her, I just put out the whole F*ck Love project and was not in the vibe of love. But I guess… you can’t control some of that type of stuff. It was so ironic.’

Laroi recently made history as the youngest solo artist to top the Australian album charts.

And now he’s on a mission to showcase his home country’s rap scene to the world.

‘I don’t think America is completely switched on to how big [and] great the Australian music scene and culture is, but I think that’s kind of my job to shed light,’ he told Triple J.

Born in Canada, rapper Drake often gushes about his home city of Toronto in his music, and even boasts a number of Toronto-themed tattoos.

Laroi, whose real name is Charlton Howard, added: ‘You have to do it in a way where people get it and really see it for what it really is; how great the scene really is.’

‘That’s the most important thing – I don’t want people to overlook it or think because it’s my country, I really want people to recognise Australia is the f**king future of music, in my opinion.’
