Saturday Night Takeaway’s original Little Ant and Little Dec now have very different careers.

Little Ant star James Pallister, 28, is now an RAC patrolman.

The duo – who left viewers in stitches with their hilarious skits and celebrity interviews – were last on screen back in 2006, and were replaced in 2010 by Neil Overend and Haydn Reid.

And now, James covers the Sunderland and Durham as a patrolman for the RAC, which he’s worked for since 2015.

He lives in Chester-le-Street in County Durham, with his fiancé Nicole and their two sons, aged one and three.

Speaking of his new career, James told The Sun: ‘I absolutely love my job. There’s nothing better than being out on the roads helping people who have broken down.

‘I really pride myself on being able to fix most of the cars I go out to.’

Earlier this year, James and Dylan met with Ant and Dec, who were stunned over how much they have changed.

Speaking about the reunion, Dylan admitted to the publication: ‘They were shocked when they saw us, it’s been a few years since we have caught up and we are much taller!’

James added: ‘Times have changed. I don’t think I look like a Little Ant now but I really enjoyed the experience and its something I’ll never forget.’

The doppelganger duo were first introduced as a way for the busy main presenters to attend all the engagements they didn’t have time to attend.

Dylan and James were eventually replaced on Saturday Night Takeaway by Neil and Haydn, who made their first appearance on the show when they were aged five and six.
