Shawn Mendes and ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello rekindled their relationship as they shared a steamy kiss on the first night of Coachella, a year after their shock split. 

In a clip, uploaded to Twitter of the former couple packing on the PDA as the crowd around them stared, the Señorita hitmaker, 24, and the Cuban-born songstress, 26, looked lost in the moment as they locked lips. 

As she lovingly wrapped her arm around his waist, he leaned down closer to her as they smooched in the dark during a performance at the music festival. 

Earlier in the night, the musicians, who were friends for years before dating, were captured catching up at the music festival in a clip shared on the 102.7 KIIS FM Twitter.

The duo – who called it quits in November 2021 – were seen speaking, with Camila saying something to Shawn, who held a drink in his hand, before he replied.

Recently-single Camila looked incredible in a white bustier top that showed off her trim midriff, and denim cargo pants. Meanwhile Shawn rocked festival-friendly attire, sporting a fitting graphic tee, beige pants and a bandana around his neck.

Shawn’s rumored love interest, Dr. Jocelyne Miranda, 51, also appeared to be in the area, sharing a snap of herself in the desert, after the duo were recently spotted together two days prior stepping out for breakfast.

Camila accessorized her Coachella look with a gold necklace spelling out her name, along with a pearl Chanel choker and a number of rings.

The Havana songstress wore white sneakers for the outing, and had her lustrous brunette tresses cascading down her shoulders and back.

As for glam she opted for a natural look, wearing just a hint of mascara.

Meanwhile Shawn shielded his eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.

His longtime chiropractor, Dr. Miranda, also looked casual cool in her snap – shared to her Instagram Stories – sporting a graphic t-shirt, black pants, and a hat.

Camila and Shawn began dating in July 2019. They announced their split in November, 2021 but assured fans in an Instagram statement that they were still ‘best friends.’

An insider alleged to E! News at the time that Shawn ‘initiated’ the breakup talk, leaving Camila initially ‘very upset over the split’ until she ‘agreed’ they ought to separate.

Meanwhile a PEOPLE source said the romance ‘fizzled’ after the coronavirus lockdowns when their busy work schedules resumed.
