Diehard Swifties are losing their minds over the superstar’s heartbreaking new song, You’re Losing Me, which she released as a special surprise on the Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album.

Selling exclusively at Taylor’s New Jersey concerts this weekend, the track has her fans absolutely convinced that she’s singing about former flame Joe Alwyn, 32.

Confessional as ever, the 12-time Grammy winner, 33 – who is currently being romanced by Matt Healey – chronicles the end of her relationship, lamenting about whether or not she should finally pull the plug and hinting at what brought the relationship to an end.

Taylor brought on the waterworks with her bridge, singing: ‘I wouldn’t marry me either/ A pathological people pleaser/ Who only wanted you to see her.’

The first aching verse goes: ‘We thought a cure would come through in time, now, I fear it won’t. Now, I just sit in the dark and wonder if it’s time.’

Filling the chorus with despair, Taylor declares: ‘I can’t find a pulse / My heart won’t start anymore for you / ‘Cause you’re losing me.’

The song sent social media into an emotional tailspin, with one Swiftie tweeting: ‘Taylor Swift just made me depressed with a song about a relationship that’s not even mine. Again.’

Another grief-stricken fan proclaimed: ‘I JUST WOKE UP AND MY HEART CANNOT TAKE LISTENING TO YOU’RE LOSING ME WTF.’

Multiple Swifties declared that they were ‘not okay’ after listening to Taylor’s new song, which inspired a great deal of passion.

One Swiftie tweeted: ‘Everyone saying that they don’t like or get You’re Losing Me? How does it feel to be tasteless.’

Taylor and Joe’s six-year relationship came to an end last month, with sources for ET claiming that the Lavender Haze songstress and the English actor had an amicable split that was ‘not dramatic.’

The pair had been romantically linked since 2016 and Taylor has frequently voiced her feelings for the British hunk, 32, in her songs over the years.

Joe even co-wrote music with Taylor under the pen name William Bowery on her past three albums: Folklore, Evermore and Midnights.

Kicking off her record-breaking Eras tour last month in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor declared to 70,000 fans that she loves teaching ‘men how to apologize.’

‘So, sort of a recurring theme in my music is that I love to explain to men how to apologize. I just love it,’ said the iconic songstress, per footage posted to Twitter.

‘It’s kind of my thing,’ added Taylor. ‘I love to tell them step-by-step, “Here’s how simple this is to fix things if you just follow these easy steps that I’m laying out for you in a three-minute song.” I just love the idea of men apologizing.’

Earning thunderous applause, the pop megastar went on to describe the ‘excruciatingly autobiographical’ nature of her albums, likening them to ‘live-streamed public autopsies.’
