Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine broke his silence on his ‘cowardly’ gym beatdown for the first time Friday – one day after it emerged the suspects have been arrested.

The 26-year-old rapper (born Daniel Hernandez) was attacked by a group of men inside the sauna of an LA Fitness in South Florida last week.

First time addressing the situation,’ he wrote on Instagram over a jaw-dropping video of his assault. ‘For 2 years I been walking around with no security. Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything.’

He declared: ‘If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world: “Danny drives his own cars and be solo”‘

Further, he noted: ‘You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.’

Tekashi 6ix9ine argued: ‘Anyway what happen here was nothing but cowardly. I’m not mad this happened.’

However he acknowledged: ‘In the street there’s no rules so I cant say they were wrong. Obviously it wasn’t fair but again the streets has no rules.’

He cryptically added: ‘Just imagine having nothing to do to with a situation and feel obligated to make it your business. (Very weird)’ I’m happy to be here still.’

The rap star concluded: ‘And I want to say I love my fans. Thank you. P.S : I never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W???’

His statement came one day after it emerged that the men who attacked him more than a week ago are now behind bars.

The Palm Beach Sheriff Office revealed to TMZ they arrested Rafael Medina, Jr., 43, Octavious Medina, 23 and Anthony Maldonado, 25, for the assault.

There is no indication if the men who attacked him have any connections to the New York gang the rapper flipped on.

The three attackers were booked Thursday evening and processed into the county jail as well.

The attack happened on March 21, with the attackers posting video of the incident on social media.

‘Not in the south you rat b***h got his a**,’ the video was captioned by one of the attackers.

The rapper was being kicked and punched by several men in the video, leaving him bloodied and bruised.

Tekashi was said to be a regular at the South Florida gym and never caused problems with others, often posting for pictures with fans when recognized.

Another report shortly after the incident said employees of the LA Fitness ultimately locked the rapper into a ‘safe room’ after the attack.

He was later taken to the hospital from injuries to his face, back, ribs and jaw.

The incident came five years after he testified against the Bloods gang and fellow rapper Cardi B in federal court.

He was facing a minimum prison sentence of 47 years and a maximum of a life sentence on charges including racketeering, firearm possession, armed robbery and attempted murder, before he testified against his co-defendants.

Tekashi ultimately served two years in prison, though he was released in April 2020, ordered to serve the remainder of his sentence on house arrest.

Since his release, he has done little to keep a low profile, even showing off stacks of cash on Instagram.

He also made headlines in August of 2022, his longtime girlfriend Rachel Wattley was arrested in Miami after she punched him several times at Miami hotspot Kiki on the River.

The rapper was also thrown out of Miami’s LoanDepot Park as he created a scene while ‘heavily intoxicated,’ a source told Page Six.

‘He was heavily intoxicated and interrupting other guests’ experience,’ the source said. ‘He was drunk, he was inebriated and he was out of control.

There were a lot of families there last night and he was bothering people.’

He had attended the World Baseball Classic ballgame between Puerto Rico and Mexico.

He continues to boast about money and women on social media, where he has more than 24million followers, and is still making music.
