Colton Underwood has officially said ‘I do’ to Jordan C. Brown during a romantic ceremony in Napa Valley over the weekend.

The Bachelor alum, 31, who announced his engagement to the political strategist, 40, earlier last year in February, held a three-day celebration while surrounded by 200 of their close friends and family at the luxurious Carneros Resort and Spa, People reported on Sunday.

The former NFL player had previously dated Cassie Randolph after the two met on season 23 of The Bachelor, and split in May 2020. The following year in April 2021, the TV personality came out as gay.

On Friday, both Colton and Jordan enjoyed a large family dinner and held the outdoor nuptials the following day on Saturday with the sprawling vineyards surrounding the venue, the outlet reported.

Before the wedding took place, Underwood revealed the exciting plans that were in store, stating, ‘The day of our ceremony, we have a disco-themed pool party. It’s going to be a fun wedding.’

The happy couple dressed for the occasion, with Colton donning a dark green, Tom Ford suit, while Jordan was dapper in a navy blue suit, also from the brand.

In regards to choosing Napa Valley as the location of their nuptials, Brown expressed to People that, ‘We wanted trees around and sunshine,’ while emphasizing that, ‘It was really important for us to get married outside.’

The newlyweds are fans of the outdoors, and became engaged last year in the naturistic stretch of land known as Big Sur, which is located near the central coast of California.

The set up for the ceremony was romantic, with an orchestra leading guests to where the nuptials were set to take place, as well as a photo display made by Colton and Jordan themselves.

The reality star explained that a coffee table book titled, Loving, was behind the inspiration to create a picture collection.

He stated that the book has, ‘images of men in love throughout history. We blew them up and put them on canvases and set them around the resort.’

‘Next to them will be love letters from queer people in the 18th and 19th century that were forbidden or they had to send in secret,’ he further added to the publication.

Jordan also chimed in to state, ‘It’s really cool. It helps us to pay tribute to the people who paved the way for all same-sex couples who now can get married.’

The Coming Out Colton star expressed, ‘We wanted to break some of the traditional norms of what a ceremony and a wedding look like.’

He added that both he and Jordan, ‘recognize that a lot of people attending, both of our families and some of our friends, this will be their first queer wedding. We really want to make it special.’

And the couple followed through on that goal, and revealed they even asked Stanford University’s artistic swimming team to give a performance in a pool at the venue to close out the ceremony in a memorable way.

‘I like to host and bring people together. It’s our wedding, but it’s also a three-day party that we are throwing for our nearest and dearest,’ Jordan stated.

The reception was a fun-filled gathering with scrumptious food and tasty cake. The newlyweds danced to the track, The Good Ones, by Gabby Barrett, with Colton telling People, ‘It’s just one of those songs that both remind us of each other and special to us.’

Taking the next step in their relationship and officially tying the knot with Jordan came natural to Underwood. ‘I’ve never been more sure about something. He has the biggest heart and he’s such a good friend to all of the people in his life.’

The media personality gushed, ‘He goes out of his way to take care of his friends and his family. That speaks volumes. It was one of the first things that I noticed about him.’

Colton and Jordan have remained private about their relationship for the most part. However, after being spotted in Hawaii together in September 2021, Underwood told The New York Times two months later that he was, ‘very happy and very in love.’

The former NFL player jumped into the spotlight when he appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette in 2018. He later starred on The Bachelor in 2019, where he met Cassie Randolph, who he dated until their split in May 2020.

Two months after Colton and Cassie broke up, Randolph filed a restraining order against the former sports star and claimed that he was stalking her and placed a tracking device in her vehicle.

The order was granted and the issue was privately settled later that same year in November 2020. In April 2021, Underwood revealed on Good Morning America that he was gay.

‘I’ve ran from myself for a long time. I’ve hated myself for a long time,’ he had stated at the time. ‘And I’m gay. And I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it.’

‘And the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know. I’m still nervous, but yeah. It’s been a journey for sure.’

He had also publicly apologized to Cassie during the GMA interview. ‘I’m sorry for any pain and emotional stress I caused.’

‘I wish that it wouldn’t have happened the way that it did. I wish that I had been courageous enough to fix myself before I broke anybody else,’ the star continued.

Despite their difficult split, Cassie expressed her happiness for her ex, Colton, after he came out during an episode of the Ben And Ashley I Almost Famous podcast which aired in October 2022.

‘I’m very happy that he, you know, is at peace with himself and not carrying that burden anymore, of course,’ the TV personality admitted to the hosts, per Us Weekly.

‘It was a very just overall hard time for me, so I feel like there was just one thing after another and I was just extremely overwhelmed with everything going on,’ she added after hearing about the news before Underwood told her himself.

After the news, the TV personality soon celebrated his own Netflix reality series titled, Coming Out Colton, which aired in December 2021.

The official premise followed Underwood as he, ’embarked on a journey to embrace his new life as an out member of the LGBTQ community.’
