Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle gets charges for allegedly sending death threats to ex-wife dropped after she declined to cooperate
Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle has been able to put one of his legal problems behind him.
The 32-year-old — whose father is in federal prison serving a 12-year sentence — no longer faces charges in Georgia for allegedly threatening the life of his estranged wife.
The charges were dropped because Kyle’s estranged wife, Alexus, is no longer cooperating with prosecutors, according to papers obtained by TMZ.
The DeKalb County DA told the outlet, ‘After further investigation, review of the evidence and discussion with the victim, based on all facts and circumstances our office declined to prosecute the case.’
The charges had been hanging over his head for several years.

When Kyle, who is Todd’s son with his first wife, Teresa Terry, was arrested on drug charges in Oklahoma in 2019, investigators found he was also wanted in Georgia for allegedly sending threatening texts to his wife.
The notes reportedly read, ‘[N]ot before I end you. Im going to the streets I will get my s*** and take care of this problem with you because if I’m not with you nobody will be. Bye Alexus.’
She then replied ‘thats a threat to my life.’
Kyle allegedly answered, ‘yes :Lexi it was. Goodbye.’
Alexus also reportedly showed them a photo of Kyle pointing a gun to his head.
Kyle told TMZ he is relieved the charges have been dropped and he ‘can put that part of my life behind me for good.’
However, he still faces assault charges in Smyrna, Tennessee, stemming from a reported altercation with his former boss in which he allegedly threatened him with a knife.
Kyle is the father of Chloe Chrisley, 11, who is now being brought up by her aunt Savannah, 25, while Todd, 54, and his wife Julie, are serving their prison sentences for tax evasion and bank fraud.
Julie was sentenced to seven years behind bars. Both reported to their respective prisons in January.
Savannah also has custody of her younger brother Grayson, 17.
