Just a day after a judge ordered him to pay $237K in back child support and another $399K to her lawyers, Tyrese Gibson reveals he plans to fight the decision.

The 44-year-old actor was spotted at LAX on Wednesday, where he was asked about the judgment against him to pay his ex Samantha Lee Gibson.

When asked how he’s holding up after the decision, Gibson said, ‘I’m inspired,’ adding it wasn’t about just him.

‘What just happened today, happens every day in the family law court system. Fathers have no rights. Period,’ Gibson said.

‘So, the bigger the a**-whopping I get in court, the more it’s going to shed light on what is happening, since the beginning of time,’ Gibson added.

‘It’s just not about me. I will never not take care of my daughters, whether I’m with their mother or not,’ Gibson said of his daughters, 15-year-old Shayla and four-year-old Soraya.

‘But it’s not OK to call us deadbeat dads when we’re hustling, grinding, traveling, doing whatever it takes to put food on the table and take care of our families, which would naturally cause us to be physically away from our kids, and then that gets used against us in court, because the mother may be more available than you,’ Gibson added.

‘And then, when you don’t have a job and you’re struggling and trying to pull it together, independent of a pandemic, we get emasculated,’ Gibson said.

‘So at the end of the day, he just pulled out the biggest light imaginable on him, his conduct, him literally making things up on the fly,’ Gibson added, referring to the judge, adding what he did as an, ‘abuse of power.’

‘So, I’m inspired, because I believe there’s gonna be a law, multiple laws in place in the city of Atlanta, that’s going to refer to Gibson and Gibson… and they’ll be able to make reference to case law pertaining to what’s gonna happen,’ Gibson insisted.

‘I’ll do whatever it takes and I’ll spend whatever it takes to turn this all around, not just on behalf of my daughters, but on behalf of every father who cannot afford proper representation or have any type of voice,’ Gibson said.

‘I’m not thinking about me. I’m really really passionate about this and maybe God has created all these bad perfect storms and scenarios for me to be a part of affecting change,’ Gibson concluded.

Gibson took to social media on Monday to blast Judge Kevin Farmer in a rambling selfie video in which he revealed that he unsuccessfully tried to have the judge removed from his family court case.

He called for a ‘peaceful protest’ in front of the courthouse in the video posted on Instagram for his roughly 16.6 million followers, but the protest over bias against fathers in the family court system apparently did not materialize.

The Fast & Furious franchise star was ordered by Farmer last August to pay $10,690 a month in child support to Samantha on behalf of their four-year-old daughter Soraya.

Gibson refused to pay because he felt the judge, who publicly scolded him while he testified on the stand, was ‘racist’ and biased against him.

Farmer penalized Gibson for refusing to pay by holding him in contempt of court.

Gibson could have been arrested, but the judge allowed him to remain free.

He was ordered to pay $237,944 in back child support for Soraya, plus $399,000 for Samantha’s attorney fees. Gibson also had to pay $17,000 for the special master who was appointed by the judge to handle disputes during the case.

Samantha’s attorney Adam Gleklen that Samantha wanted to co-parent Soraya with Tyrese, follow the court’s orders and move ahead cordially.

Farmer threatened to hold Gibson in contempt of court last August after Samantha’s attorney noted that he made more than $2 million in 2018 after claiming to be in financial ruin at the time.

Farmer immediately cut him off and yelled at Gibson, ‘You don’t ask questions! That’s not how this works!!’

He threatened to hold Gibson in contempt if he misbehaved again.
