Weezer showed their support for the writers on strike outside of Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The American rock band — formed in 1992 — played some of their most popular hit songs to the Writers Guild of America members picketing outside of the major movie studio, according to TMZ.

Three of the four band members — comprising of lead singer Rivers Cuomo,  as well as guitarists Scott Shriner and Brian Bell — were seen playing an acoustic concert.

Drummer Patrick Wilson was not spotted in attendance as his bandmates performed some of their most well-known songs, including Beverly Hills and Buddy Holly.

Other stars showing their support for the continuing strike include Pete Davidson, who handed out pizza to writers on strike in New York City earlier this month.

Imagine Dragons was another band to provide entertainment and show their support for the writers at the picket line in front of Netflix HQ, as reported by Deadline.

On the same day that Weezer made their appearance in support of the WGA strike, Madeleine Stowe was also seen at the picket line.

The Stakeout actress, 64, put on a casual display as she joined the writers in their ongoing efforts.

During the strike, she was seen animatedly conversing with the other picketers as she joined them in support.

The Writers Guild of America first launched the strike at the beginning of May after the union announced they had not come to an agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on a contract.

The next day, the guild called for a strike for better working conditions for their members.

Nearly 12,000 unionized screenwriters headed to the picket line for the first time since the strike in 2008 — which lasted for 100 days.

Since the beginning of the strike, many celebrities have been spotted showing their support and picketing alongside the writers as well as sending them food.

On day 16 of the strike, Deadline reported that SAG-AFTRA’s national board voted to ask their union members to authorize a strike — which may mean that union will soon be joining forces with WGA at the picket line.
