EastEnders has teased more new arrivals after Linda Carter’s mother Elaine Peacock returned to Albert Square.
Soap bosses previously confirmed that Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) will be moving her extended family – boyfriend George Knight and his daughters – into the pub once she completely takes over.
Linda blindsided her pal Sharon after going into business with her mum instead, but now it appears the roles are set to be reversed.
Elaine made a private call to partner George (Colin Salmon) where she told him she missed him and that she couldn’t wait for him to arrive.
Tension has been brewing between the pair already, as Linda told her mother: ‘This isn’t just your pub mum. It is mine too. I don’t need you interfering with the rota or moving my crisps.’
