Lily Allen cut a stylish figure on Friday as she stepped out for a late night dinner with husband David Harbour in London.

The singer turned actress, 37, draped a smart black coat over her striped knitted jumper as she and the Stranger Things star, 47, headed to Gymkhana Indian Restaurant in Mayfair.

The couples outing comes after they attended a screening for Lily’s debut TV show Dreamland.

The It’s Not Fair hitmaker teamed her black, cream and tan jumper with loose-fitting black trousers and a pair of white trainers.

She added a touch of blind with a sparkling diamond necklace and matching earrings, while her cropped platinum locks were worn poker straight.

The couple appeared in a hurry to get inside as they braved the London downpour amid their outing.

Lily has ventured into the world of acting and is making her TV debut in the new comedy series alongside co-star and Doctor Who alum Freema Agyeman.

Based on Sharon Horgan’s BAFTA-winning short film of the same name, the series explores the dysfunctional dynamics of a multi-generational family.

Lily plays the fourth sister Mel, who makes her unexpected return. Eldest sister Trish is played by Freeman.

The other two sisters are taken on by Gabby Best and Peaky Blinders’ Aimee-Ffion Edwards. Frances Barber plays mum while Sheila Reid plays the nan.

Lily appeared on This Morning on Wednesday to speak about her new show, she said: ‘This just felt light and positive which is not how my life has felt.

‘It’s my way into acting and it feels authentic with the female cast. The energy in the room was so kind and generous and it didn’t really hit me it was because there were no men.’

‘It is weird. My life has changed so much. I’m four years clean and sober, I have a new husband, we’re sorting our lives out in America,’ she said.

After making her theatre debut in 2:22: A Ghost Story back in 2021, Lily recently told how she was more confident than nervous to take her first steps into TV.

She told The Times: ‘I get off on doing new things and trying to claw my way out of whatever box it is that I’ve been put in.

‘The idea of failure is what makes it titillating to me. You know, “Oh my God, I might be sooo bad and everyone might hate me.” And actually that’s quite exciting — because I’m sick.’
