Vanessa Feltz and Pete Wicks cosied up for a sweet snap taken at the Buckingham Palace garden party as part of the Coronation celebrations last week.

The former TOWIE star, 35, looked dapper in a double-breasted suit jacket as he wrapped his arm around Vanessa, 61, for the photograph.

Vanessa shared a series of snaps from the regal day out on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, including the photo with the reality personality.

The This Morning star looked lovely in a flowing floral dress with white lace segments, teamed with a pair of platform heels.

The former Made In Chelsea held his hand over Pete’s manhood as they brought the tone down at the royal bash.

Despite the cheeky display, Sam was clearly delighted to be invited to the event, and captioned the shots: ‘We’re at Buckingham Palace!’

Their appearance comes after Peter teased a possible budding romance with Carol Vorderman, after admitting the pair shared a flirty ‘back and forth’ on Instagram.

Last month, he admitted that he wanted to get closer to Carol and become one of her five ‘special friends’.

The former Countdown star, 62, has previously said she’s ‘not into one night stands’ but dates five men whom she affectionately names her ‘special friends’. 

Pete teased fans and told them to ‘watch this space’.

Speaking on his podcast with Sam, Staying Relevant, Pete said: ‘There’s been a lot of hoopla about me and a potential new romance with Carol Vorderman – f***ing everywhere.

‘So last week on the podcast just as we were leaving, Sam called everyone back in for the Carol Vorderman saga, which I then re-tweeted – me and Carol had a bit of back and forth on Instagram, which I was very happy about.

‘It then went into the press, all the press picked it up.’

Pete added: ‘It went everywhere, where it was “Carol Vorderman linked with Pete Wicks”. 

‘I’ve been linked with a lot of women but none as fabulous as Carol Vorderman, so I am over the moon.’

He then went on to call her ‘iconic’ and revealed the flirty exchange with Carol on Instagram. 

Pete said: ‘The last thing I said to Carol was “ready when you are”.’

Sam then asked if the Countdown star replied, to which Pete revealed: ‘Yeah, she went, “Ooo”.’

‘What does that even mean?’ Sam asked as Pete replied: ‘Don’t know I’m not sure it’s even a good thing.’

Speaking with presenter Holly Jay-Smith following her appearance on This Morning  Carol was told: ‘So basically, [Pete has] gone on a podcast and he said he wants to be one of your men.’

The math’s whizz gasped and giggled before asking to take a look at a photo of the tattooed reality star. 

Appearing impressed by the snap Carol teased: ‘Is that official now?’.

Holly replied: ‘Well, you’ve got to start following him [on Instagram] at least. Because they said on their podcast that he’d like to be one of your men’.

Before Carol said: ‘One of my special friends? That’s hilarious!’.

It wasn’t long before Pete responded with a flirty message that read: ‘Ready when you are Carol…’. 

The I’m A Celeb star then followed Pete on Instagram. 

Speaking about her love life in January, Carol said on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show:  ‘I first spoke about it about three months ago on This Morning’.

During her appearance on This Morning last month, Carol and close pal Fatima Whitbread and revealed they saw each other naked in camp during I’m A Celeb filming in South Africa.

Ahead of the new series Fatima, 62, explained: ‘This is part of character building this whole process. It brings out the best and worst in you. You see each other literally naked, it is stripped to the bone.’

Dermot then revealed they had a clip to show ITV viewers, with Alison quipping: ‘Hopefully not naked!’ 

Teasing the new series, Fatima said: ‘We have head to heads, so people can get knocked out before their time. The challenges are much tougher than Australia. 

‘The producers thought well they’ve done that before so make it harder. It is physically and mentally challenging’

Carol added: ‘It is brutal, Fatima is hardcore’ 

Alison went on to ask if there was any arguments or drama in camp, with Fatima responding: ‘It was a bit like a soap opera, there was a bit of everything’
